...On EV:N. Yeah, "quick" and "TC" don't really go hand-in hand, but I thought of something interesting to spice up the old game's graphics without going to all the trouble of making new ones. Get what I'm saying yet?
Yes, use Nova ship graphics in place of the old ones, shäns and all. For example:
Confed Crusier -> Fed Carrier Confed Frigate -> Fed Frigate Confed Gunboat -> Anaconda Confed Patrol Ship -> Fed Viper etc.
Ok, so, in the end, this isn't very "little," since the planet graphics and the weapon graphics will also have to be changed (with a few descs editted. There aren't really any "triangular" fighters in Nova), and it ends up being pretty big. The idea is, though, that it's smaller and easier to do then all those other graphical updates for EVNC and EVNO.
Once I get the time, I plan to try it.

I dunno...that would just seem weird to fly Nova ships in the EV universe. I'd much rather see someone port MAGMA (and MAGMA:O) for use with the EV and EVO ports.

Well, Dr. Trowel's Extremely Straightforward WebPage (E.S.W.P) has ColdFusion graphics for EVN:O, and porting the other graphics is not actually that difficult. EnRle them and put them in the correct rlë8/D resources, then make appropriate shäns.
You can't depend on other people for everything. If you really want something done, and it doesn't require a ton of thought, creativity, and effort, then just do it yourself. You'll save a lot of time doing it instead of waiting for someone to do it for you.
