Teasers should be kept to a minimum, preferably one thread. Publicity goes hand in hand with vapourware...but this is tastefully done, so we're alright. And it was a good idea to put in that watermark; you never know what kind of strange people will try to steal our graphics.
I wish I got more than 6 hours of sleep a night. I also wish I had enough sleep to write something coherent. Until then, I'll have to progress very slowly with these activities, as school drains a great percentage of my time and energy :).

This thread also represents the fact that I'm now done all the crest graphics. I need to put in another ten hours or so on the interface, but then basically all (that's right, count 'em ALL) our 2D graphics will be done. A far cry from vaporware.
I'm not saying (or implying) that this has any real chance of becoming vapourware. Still...the missions need to be written, and graphics without missions are useless. And missions will be pretty time-intensive. So we still have quite a distance to cover :).
Of course, you're free to do what you will. I'm not going to stop you; I'm already busy enough as it is. And I think the teaser crest was an excellent idea.

Anyway, on the point of teasers.
They can be good to get people interested, but they shouldn't be done at the expense of actually working on the thing, and probably not too early in the process. Take (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/mrxak/EV/N/amtc/amtc.html")my TC(/url) for instance. I give it no name, I give no anticipated release dates, I never update the site, and I provide next to zero information. 99.999% of all the work I do for the TC nothing to do with advertising, etc. When it is almost completely done with testing, I will probably start giving a little more out there, just to build interest, but until then, it's just an ultra-secret project.
Anyway, I don't think Sephil Saga will end up as vaporware, so I'm glad to see a few teasers here and there.
