In Nova, how would one go about...

putting several items (outfits) together into a "package deal" (ex: making a universal license so the buyer only has to buy one license that covers all licenses)?

Well, you can open up EVNew and look into the Exotic Ships Licenses. It might help you learn.

There's a field (OnPurchase) where you can put NCB expressions; you could use the Gxxx operator to give the player items when he buys the 'big item'/'package'. So that you don't have artifacts floating around, you can use the OnSell field and the Dxxx operator to remove the player's items.

I'm probably going to use this; I discovered one day that any outfit can only have 4 Modification Types, much to my chagrin :).
