Dead char bug

I recently transferred a plug from one comp to another so I could work on it over the weekend. When I put it in the folder and tried to create a new pilot in the plug, Nova let me past the naming screen and everything, only to inform me that my pilot was dead. Reopening the new pilot file did not resolve the problem, it still said "xxx is dead" at the bottom and wouldn't let me play. The pilot was not strict play, and the problem repeated with any other pilots I made. However, I could still play the plug -- but only by using a pilot file previously created in Nova. Even weirder, creating a new pilot in the Nova scenario, then loading in the plug, still resulted in the problem. Help!

Does the plug change the shields/armor of the ship you're in? I had Nova do this to me when I messed around with making a ship have no shields or armor. It would just reload the pilot then tell me that they had died. Hope this helps.

Yup, that was it. Thanks... Sort of obvious, I guess, if you start with 0 armor it means that you have 0 armor (you're dead). Interesting the way Nova handles that. Thanks again though.
