Well, sorta.

I'm really hoping to start another The mrxak Challenge really soon. That's the good news.
I'm hoping to include several levels of difficulty and some degree of variety within those levels. That's also the good news.
I'm short of ideas. That's the bad news.

So, what can we do about the situation? Email me ideas of things that are either impossible, "impossible", very hard, hard, or theoretical and never before attempted in the Nova engine. The wackier the better, but don't let that stop you from submitting an idea. Send me anything you can think of.

I have a bunch of ideas that I'm pretty excited about challenging you all with, but I just want more, so more people get involved. I know there's some interest in getting this started again, so the sooner I get some additional ideas, the sooner we can begin.

And let me just emphasize one point. You must Email the ideas to me. Posting here will spoil the challenges for everybody. Comments/questions only, no ideas here please.

Well, I'll post something I tried to do...

Can you create a weapon - like a bomb or missle, that exits the ship and then, rather then exploding it implodes and tractors all the vessels in the system to the one spot where it was and they explode in flaming glory.

I tried, but never got it work. I was working in EV:O of course...

By posting ideas here, you pretty much guarantee that they won't be used for any competition. You have to email them to me.

Thanks to everyone so far for the idea submissions. I've gotten three so far. I won't be responding individually unless I have questions, but you'll never know if or when any of them might suddenly appear in a The mrxak Challenge.

Anyway, I'd still like a few more before I start things up, so send anything and everything my way.

I would like to look at this weapon as well (when EVNEW is released).
If possible, would you mind loading a copy that is not .hqx, as my copy of Stuffit (somehow) chokes on them.

Well, I might as well make this tiny announcement now. I will be starting the next The mrxak Challenge next week, probably on Friday or Saturday. If I forget, somebody please poke me, either through email (the most likely to get my attention) or on this topic.

The most likely set-up will be one challenge in each category, and maybe an additional really easy fake one to get people started, and set up the system.

There's a few logistical matters that need thinking about and doing before this can get going at full pace.
