i am making a ship plugin on a pc what softweare do in need this is my first plugin
There is no PC-native plugin editor.
You need a macintosh emulator such as basilisk 2 and a copy of MacOs, ResEdit, and Novatools. You will also need HFV Explorer to take plugins you make off of your emulated macintosh, and transfer data onto the emulated macintosh. To make the emulator work, you will need a rom image. There are some available on the web (quadra 650 being the best), but its not technically legal to use them unless you have the computer they came from.
And if you want your own graphics for your ship, you actually cant do it properly on an emulated macintosh, because you cant convert PICT sprites to RLEs, because the only programs that do that run on PPC macs only (which cant be emulated on a pc). You can try using pict sprites though. It should work, atleast well enough for testing (and once you knew everything was working, you could send it to someone with a mac and have them EnRLE it) -Az
