I'm currently in the process of making a plug-in currently for Override (I may switch to Nova some time in the future) that I consider to be a Major Scenario...but it takes place thirty years after the UE have defeated the Voinians.
As such, I have to make up events that take place inbetween the two time periods. It also means that I have to change damn near all of the ship, weapon, bar, planet, etc. dëscs.
I also plan to make mission strings for all of the remaining governments (maybe even Renegades!), and I plan to make side-strings and typical freight missions.
I figure that the scale of this project will be dangerously close to that of a TC, but my question is...would it technically be considered one?
Now that that's out of the way, here is my (rather long) plot as of now (I need help with a name before I make the site):
_Thirty years after the Voinian War ended in favor of the UE, they have been focused on overcoming the pesky Renegades.
All that's changed in less than a decade.
The Denobulans charged into the galaxy, vaporizing all ships who attacked them. The Zacha, who had come to treat all ships not willing to identify themselves as hostile, atacked... ...and are now dust.
They set down in a Miranu world, and built seven stations all around Miranu space. The once prosperous world of Denobula is now a desolate, isolated planet, stripped of its resources by the Denobulans themselves.
They never saw them coming. Their swift ships took the Denobulans by surprise and overtook three of their stations before having to end their invasion. The Romulans were here, and they weren't interested in making friends.
The Miranu, while angry to no end at the Denobulans, are now completely safe from the Renegades, who will not cross Denobulan-Romulan space for fear of being caught in one of the vicious battles.
The UE, unlike the Zacha, saw a good oppurtunity, rather than a threat. If they could become allies with the Denobulans, they could overwhelm and incinerate the Renegade menace. And so they sent an enormous fleet, led by the commander-in-chief of the navy, to help defeat the Romulans in the historic beginning battle dubbed the Battle of Denob (being in the Denob system). It failed. The captains were so scared by the immensely powerful chaos of it all that they turned back and returned to their respective bases, despite their sheer numbers giving an enormous advantage.
And so, the Romulans won the battle. The Denobulans' station was destroyed, and they built another one farther out. But they had more tricks up their sleeves. They built a new class of warship so powerful it could wipe out a large fleet of enemy combatants in less than a minute. They got the upper hand, and the Romulans were sent further back.
The UE slowly slipped its navy into the uninhabited systems along Denobulan-Romulan space to sabotage unsuspecting Romulan ships that passed. With almost all of its navy gone, they are hard-pressed to help defend the worlds near the south tip, and several rebellions formed. They soon merged into one lethal fighting force. The rest of the crescent has remained almost unchanged.
Welcome to the new era of destruction and death._
Hmm...a little dramatic. Oh well.

There is no proof of this, and it's kind of rude to just judge something when someone announces it. **
Other than that, it sounds interesting.

People will see it as a sign of poor creativity. 3) There's a topic for beta testers already. 4) I'd suggest getting most of it done before you think about graphics. Use placeholders instead. 5) There may be no proof, but the odds are against you. Especially if you haven't been around for very long, or have never completed a major project like this before, people aren't going to expect you to finish what you've started. Don't take it the wrong way, it's just that there have been waaay too many projects announced, and so few became anything. Not too many people have a whole lot of credibility when it comes to these types of announcements.

Oh, and the plot gets more complicated yet. I just didn't want to make you waste too much time reading it.
For some more information about what it's like, check the chronicles every once in a while. Hopefully it will eventually be posted, although there are a few things I want to fix. But that'll have to wait.
I'll try and come up with a title...The New War? No, a little too dull. The Next Era? Maybe. I'm gonna have to think about that...
Anyway, thanks for calling it interesting. Can you tell me if it (plot) made any sense?

I would build it for the Nova engine, since there is the EVO storyline ported to it, and its a more advanced engine.

I would, if I had Nova registered. That's why I said "may", in case I register it before release.
