Mission introduction text

I'm confused about the introduction text for bar/outfit area/shipyard missions. The "Briefing" info is for after you've accepted the mission. The quickbrief is for your Mission Log (and I think for the mission computer too). The LoadCargo Text is for after you've loaded the cargo.

Okay. So what about the text BEFORE you accept the mission? I've looked in other similar EV missions, and I can look up all the descs except for the one when they introduce the mission and ask if you want to accept.

The intro text uses a fixed ID of 4000 + the index of the mďsn (resource ID - 128).

I just wanted to confirm something...

I believe I have seen an actual example of the desc used after a special ship goal is fulfilled (in this case, it was an Auroran campaign offshoot and the dialogue box appeared after I boarded a Federation prison ship (the 'special ship' of the mission).

Do you know if the dialogue box works for missions where other goals are specified (for example, destroy or observe), or in those cases I must relegate myself to the one-line desc at the bottom of the screen?

It's possible that the boarding of the special ship activates another hidden mission with the Sxxx flag in the OnShipDone field, and that mission displays the box and then auto-aborts.

There is a desc resource field for the shipdone. Just put it there, and it will be displayed when the shipgoal is complete.
