Where do I find Rock Island and what do I do once I'm there? I found something that seemed like it should have been Rock Island, being inhabited by only rock creatures, and landscaped only with rocks, but in the one cave there, I used the axe on a pile of rocks in the way and found only a Tome of Shock Sphere (doubly useless as I am a ranger). What do I do? Any advice much appreciated.

1- you are in the right place, dont worry 2- a ranger has no use being here other than to sell the tomes for about 24 grand. The place is meant for conjurors.

Hi Raistlin Majere. Welcome to the boards. First off, Rock Island is a part of the World of CHa0s plugin and not to be found in Spells Expander. I know it might be confusing because WoC adds on to SE by using the same character, Fayleese, who gives you the quest to go to Rock Island. Now, why did he send you there? If you check your inventory you should have an orange book called Fayleese's Journal. You wrote down in that book what you were supposed to do when you got there. The cave in the center of the island is not the only place you can go. Look around. There is more to find. I disagree with SlaVitiCkus about a Ranger having no place being here. If a Ranger does the quests there are some nice gifts from Fayleese which a Ranger will find quite useful. Each class of characters gets unique and special prizes, but SlaVitiCkus would have to play through the plugin three times with a different character each time to know that. How do I know? Carry on.
If you're really stuck, post back and someone will surely point you in the right direction. Good luck with your game. ~RD

The (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/rduck/")Kingdom of Garendall(/url) sectional map is easily printed from gif format pages. Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Spells Expander.

There may be more to go to, but the only bits of interest I could find were a WoC logo on the bottom (only on the map) and a magical field of some sort at the top that damaged and blocked me when I tried to pass. How might I circumnavigate this? As always, all help appreciated.
Well... Check out that quest journal and explore the island. If you remember Fayleese telling you something about using that axe elsewhere...

My bad...I never used my ranger there (Which surprises me because I use him the most). I oughta wait for the developers to post next time
Let me see if I understand, Rock Island is part of WoC and WoC is only accessed after you have completed the entire PoG Learning Tree Quests?
Ack! I have been on Reef Island hacking away at anything vaguely rock like. I even thought the Ritual of Desecration had something to do with it. Of course it didn't but lead to something else quite handy. . . . -M

Hi Mikeymono. Welcome to the boards. The first part is correct. Rock Island is part of World of CHa0s. It is only accessed after completing the quests in the plugin Spells Expander. It has nothing to do with the PoG Learning Tree Quests but you will probably have done them before finishing Spells Expander.
Good luck with your game. Post back if you get stuck or lost. ~RD

Can someone refresh my memory concerning the add'l use of the Magical Axe Fayleese gave me? I found the Tome of Shock Sphere and that is it. Of course, wailing on the Rock Elementals doesn't hurt whilest I look around. I just hit Level 23!

Your quest was to find a summoning stone. It is in a cave blocked by magical rocks. Look around. The cave you found was not blocked (only an alcove in it). Hey, we don't want to spoil your fun. ~RD

Okay, found the summoning stone. No can someone tell me what the other use for the axe is? Or, is it a moot point?
Also, what is the blue vial that protects your from fire for?

Well, you could use the back end of it to hammer some nails if you could find any nails. It's not much good as a weapon. The blue vial? You're going to have to figure that one out on your own unless CHa0s wants to give it away, which I doubt. You did read the shimmering inscription on the wall, didn't you?
