I made 4 new systems for testing my asteroids plugin. I had them all link to Sol (130) and linked sol to each of them. I go to sol, no new planets. I make pilot log. I am definately in the right sol (130) and there are no visbits needed to see the 4 test systems. It worked when i connected them to another system, so what is special about sol? Thanks -Az

Are you using ResEdit? If you are, I have no idea what might be the bug. Double check everything, preferably make a new plugin to test it.
If you're using EVONE or another 3rd party plugin-app, contact the developer(s) and ask. Might be a bug. ((url="http://"http://www.ariossoftware.com/")AriosSW(/url) made EVONE - in case you didn't know).

Its being done in resedit. When there was only one link, the debuglog even showed that it was putting in implied reciprical links. But no links showed. Is there some limit on the number of links that can be on a system at once? -Az

You sure you didn't punch in some "hidden" characters (i.e. you didn't accidentally press: page up, page down, home, end, etc.).
