Does anyone know is there is a way to force the PC version of EVN to a higher full-screen resolution than 800x600? If there is no way for the user to do it, do you think it would be an easy or hard thing for the coders to change?
The reason I'm asking (other than wanting higher resolutions ) is that if 800x600 is all there's ever going to be, I might start making a mod that scales all the ships down so that the pc version would seem to have more "room" on the screen.

I'm just guessing that it wouldn't be hard to change, but then old monitors couldn't support it. Also if you force something 1024x768 on it, it will most likely play the game in the center with a black border around it. Just my guesses.

First open EV Nova. Go into Nova Preferances in the game. Click Run In window. Restart EV Nova.

I tried running in a window, but all you get is more desktop space around the game as you crank the res up (I suppose technically I WAS running it at the higher res, but that wasn't what I had in mind :p).
That being said, it seems like the game is actually running at a fairly high resolution after all. When I ran in window at my normal resolution and then dropped back to 800x600, the game window was a good bit bigger than my screen.
