Pers ships grant items fields.

It sounds like one can make pers ships give the player outfits when disabled and boarded. Has anyone tried to do this? Does it work fully? Anyone seen any plugs that use it?

Yes it works. In fact it's used in the default scenario. If you come across Dr. Ralph and board him, he'll give you a 10 system exploration map (50% of the time, at least).

Wow, exactly what I was looking for in my TC. Cause I wanted a mission to get a technology from a more advanced race, and this is the way to do it. Yeah, one problem done, a few thousands more to go
