I want to make the Triphammer a secondary weapon. I have the PC version of nova so I can't edit the data files with resedit on my mac emulator, and the only plugs I could find had the Triphammer outfit only, not the weapon rsrc, so I couldn't set it to secondary fire.
Could someone give me some advice on this (or better yet, just make a quick plug for me :D)

Simple (ie, i went through your dilema too). Download the mac version of EV:N and let it install on your emu. Yep, even though you are emulating a quadra 650 (afaik, thats the best emu rom outthere) runnin os 7.5.3, it will still run. To transfer plugins over to pc, you may need to download a version of stuffit that will run. Well, opening any weap resource in resedit in basilisk causes my system to get a type 7 error and I get the restart prompt. Every time.
So can someone out there just do a very quick plugin, stuff it into a .sit and email it to me or something?
Okay, I managed to make it a secondary weapon using mission computer - but now for some reason, instead of one shot, it fires very rapidly. All I do is take the Triphammer weap data from nova data 4 and copy it into the plugin and change the flags to make it secondary fire. In fact, this happens even if I DONT change anything, I just copy the data and make a plug.
Did you buy more than one?

I dont like touching the higher level things like mission computer. Use resedit with nova tools, but for weapons, click on the weapon and then do resource->open using template. This is a bug in baselisk II. Make sure you dont change any flags you shouldnt. -Az
