i just wanna edit the pirate carrier to have like 100,000 tons of free space. what program do i need? is there any "easy way" to do it or do i have to know hex lang and stuff?
------------------ poit
The easy way would be by using ResEdit. (I'll let someone else supply the link)
is there a specially designed program to make ship editing easier? where can i get resedit?

This should be on the Developer's Corner forum.

somethings wrong, it says it cant extract the file correctly.
What expander type are you useing.
p.s. sorry about the long links.
i had the demo vers, and now my trial is over, so now i'm downloading 8.0. will i have to learn everything about plugin creation just to create a ship?
well, it certainly would'nt hurt. at first, i only wanted res edit for hacking my ships up, but, then i started to learn more(trial and error).
i use stuffit 6.0 sure some files don't unstuff automaticly when they download, but that why i hae an alias on the desktop.
is there a website or file that can show me everything i need to know?

expander 8.0 cant expand nova tools correctly either. where can i get 6.0 for windows? i heard thats the one to use
windows??? i don't recall you mentioning you used windows. sadly, there does not exist a Nova editor for windows at the current moment. my computer came with 6.0 on it. not sure where you can find it for windows. or even mac for that matter.
sorry.
For you mac users, I find Stuffit 7.1 or whatevah (Not 7.0) works just fine. For windows download stuffit and emulate a mac, I guess. As long as you're not jealous...
