I'm confused on what to do and where to go on my quests. Also, I noticed that island on the far left of the map... Can you get there? I think its possible that you can.

Once you have found the faerie, you need to capture her(by beating the snot out of her) and then bringing her to the hermit in Berglum.
To get to Reef's Island, you need access to a boat. Now, where did you see a boat before...

Hi BobtheHabnabit. Your topic title asks about the "faerie for whatshisname" and I assume you mean the dark fairy for Heldan in Berglum. With the fairy in the cage, return to Heldan and accept his hat which will give you some protection against mind hunters.
Getting to Reefs Island comes later in the game and involves a few side quests. Stark Bledfast has written an excellent (url="http://"http://stark.evula.net/pogwalkthrough.htm")Walkthrough and Compendium(/url) which covers all the quests.

Edit: OK, Stark, it's the weekend and you're still beating me to the punch. ------------------ My Doctor said I was having too much wine, women, and song - so I gave up singing because 2 out of 3 is not so bad. The (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/rduck/")Kingdom of Garendall(/url) sectional map is easily printed from gif format pages. Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Spells Expander.
