In EVC and EVN, when a ship has 3 max guns and 3 max turrets, you can have 3 of each. In EVO, you can only have a total of 3 i.e. if you have 2 turrets, you can only have 1 gun. Is this correct? Was EVO always this way? I just started playing EVO again and I don't remember it being this way. At first I thought that maybe my EVO engine was corrupted but now that EVC and EVO are available as EVN conversions, I also checked this with the same result. Therefore, EVO must have this limitation set in the data file and not in the engine. Am I making sense? If the EVO limitation is in the data file, I can't seem to find it. Can somebody help?

Well no, you see when you make a weapon, there is a tick box for "Gun" and for "Turret." In EV turrets were ticked with turret, guns with gun. In EVO, guns were gun, but turrets were gun & turret.
Got me? You can tick both, either, or none at all.
That help?

That makes sense. I guess I didn't know you could check both. Was EVO always that way or was it changed somewhere along the line?
Edit: I just checked version 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. I can't find 1.0.0 but I must have it in my archives somewhere. Why would it be set this way? It sure limits your firepower. ------------------ BIBLE: Basic Information Before Leaving Earth
