I just need alittle more knoladge on useing res Edit. like i had on my topic below, i am trying to make the folowing but can't get it quite yet. my goal is this:
I am trying to make it so that when i destroy a planet, it will turn into a worm hole with gravity, and and taste for ship.
I know how to make the gravity, and deadlyness of the worm hole, but i can't get the system to change when i blow it up, leave, and come back. it stays the same.
I know i must make 2 indentical systems, except for one will have the planet, and the other will have the deadly wormhole. and i know about it having to have the same links and the other, as well as the non-test system have a link to both systems.
Problem is, thats all i understand.
I was told by the very helpful Kame who to do it, but i still don't get some things about it.
Like: DO i acculy put "!ncb" in the first system, and "ncb" in the wormhole system?
Plus, Kame said to pu "!bXXX" in the first planet system, and then put "bXXX" in the wormhole system, both under the "onDestroy(set)" section.
BTW, i'm not including the ""s as part of the Acully inserdted test in the files.
anyways, he then told me to put the planet's "onDestroy(set)" as the planet's resource. whats planet, and does the resource mean it's ID number?
If anyone is haveing a problem understanding this post, i would be more then happy to tone it down.
