For the record, I don't like fighters to 'swarm.' The first thing I did with 1.06 was uncheck the 'swarm' option for all fighters. With this unchecked, all fighters attack at once... not fly around trying to form a group. However, they fly around (don't attack) regardless of whether I have 'swarm' checked or not. In my opinion, this makes fighters useless. I have no plugs that modify ships in any way. Is this a bug?

The fighter AI code in EV Nova 1.0.6 has not been changed. I suspect something else is wrong with your plugin - I'm moving this to the EV Developers' Webboard where it belongs...

Fed Vipers/Anacondas and Thunderheads, which are the only ones I am using at the moment (Fed Carrier).
I know that Anaconda's return to your ship after firing their missiles. Are they not firing their missiles at all?
They chase each other around the system until I call them back.
