could someone tell me how to give evn new intro music? i tried just placing an mp3 in the plugins folder giving it the title of the theme music, but it wouldn't play it. evn loaded like normal. i have downloaded one plugin that changed the music, but i don't see anything in the plugin that helps.

I believe you have to replace the existing Nova Music file in the Nova Files folder, but I could be wrong. Also, the music file must be readable by Quicktime.

I'm pretty sure it has to be called "Nova Music" in order for it to work.

i renamed a random mp3 "Nova Music" and i made it into a quicktime file. i removed the original music from the evn folder and placed mine where it was. turned evn on and it started up ok, but without any music at all, so...
could someone please tell me how to replace the evn music?
i plugin that i had downloaded was called "Polycon" and within its readme, it says to place the new music it comes with in the plugins folder, so i'll try that right now with my song.
well i did that and still got nothing new. has to be something in his/her plugin that makes evn choose the new muisc in the plugins folder.
Is your music (the one you put into the Nova Files folder) type: MPEG and the creator: Növä . If it isnt then thats your problem!
(Edit 1) and for the plugin one you have to have the following: Type: PLAY Creator: mAmp

i wonder why they changed it from how they did the ev and evo title music. they used to be in a data file, but now they are a separate music file all together. maybe its easier this way...but i still would prefer the old way. easier making it part of the plugin IMO

They changed it because the new way allows it to use QuickTime files rather than straight sound resources. This way, the music can be higher quality, and also more compressed.
