Hey, mcb --
Are ships supposed to appear in flëts regardless of whether their AppearOn bits are set or not? Right now, that's the behavior I'm seeing.
(edit) I realize each flët has an AppearOn bit as well, but what if you want a fleet that has two different ships, one of which is activated by a crön?

Then make two different fleets, one of which is activated by a crön. (You could deactivate the other with the same crön)

But it's a spöb defense fleet that I want to show improve gradually over time. And I don't want to have to make another 2-300+ s˙sts just to show gradual fleet improvement.
You've uncovered a limitation in the Nova engine that was never meant to be accessed. At this stage, any major changes to the Nova engine would likely break a half-dozen other things, and delay the PC release even longer.
I would posit that Matt will not try and rectify this bug.

This may be addressed in a future update if it turns out to be a minor issue. Meanwhile, this belongs on the EV Developers' webboard, so iMove.

Yikes... I thought it might be a limitation of the engine, but I was hoping it was a bug... didn't realize it would be a major change, and if that's the case, I'll see what I can do for a workaround.
