Graphic Malfunctions in a Plugin

I'm creating a TC for Nova at the moment, but some of the graphics don't work.
Problem 1: A ship with the shän RID 149 uses the graphics from shän RID 160. The sprite and mask IDs are different. (1042/1043 u. 1442/1443; 1062/1063 u. 1462/1463).
Problem 2: The ship with the shďp RID 160 refuses to use its actual scan (3032) and shipyard (5023) image, it always shows scan and shipyard image of the Polaris Dragon.
Both of the problems mentioned above do not appear in the NovaTool editor, only in the game.
Problem 3: The scene images of the ships appear in the hire dialog, but not in the shipyard. Only some of the ships without a scene image show the image of the original EVN ships, but not all of them. SOLVED
Problem 4: I modified the main menu interface and it works fine, except for the fact that the right buttons (enter, prefs, about), only appear to one fourth. As soon as they slode in completely, they are fully visible, however, if I click on it, the animation is only visible in one fourth, too.

Anyone knows what to do?

1. The ship resource has to correspond to a shan of the same resource number.

2. Im not sure why this is happening.

3. Do the desc resources point to the correct scene images for both hireing and shipyard?

4. Make sure that the animations correspond correctly.

I can help you more if i had a copy of the plug to look at.

Put a text file named "debuglog.txt" in your Nova folder. It might provide some useful information if you are missing anything.

It does. There already are a lot of ships in the plugin, but this is so far the only one where it is happening. While the original ship has the shďp and shän RID 149, and the other ship has the shďp and shän RID 160, (checked it out again, before I wrote this), it still uses the wrong shän. This only happens in the game. If I open the plugin with ResEdit using NovaTools, it works.

They point nowhere, all show the RID 0. And the hiring descs are not yet in the plugin. That could be it, I forgot to fill out the RID field. However, why do some of the ships show the original image, although their descs have no ID given to them? Whatever, this is worth a try, thanks!

4. Make sure that the animations correspond correctly.
They do. But I just noticed something else: usually I play Nova in MacOS X, but if I start it up in MacOS 9, the right buttons make graphic errors every time I click on one of them.

I won't, since I don't want to risk to see any of my graphics or around before the plugin is out. But I could send you the files, if you don't mind. Do you have an eMail adress?

mrxak, I tried that but I couldn't get anything out of it. It didn't tell me anything that could helpfull for these problems.
