EV plugins?

i was just wondering if there still is intrest in EV/O Plugins, because i sure do, and i like to make plugins, but you know it kinda ruins the secrets of the missions when you where the one that wrote the plugins

I still occationally play EV/O plugs on one of my older computers that are unable to play Nova.

I agree- it does ruin the game playing effect somewhat. But at the same time, when you learn the ropes of the game it allows you to create some wicked cool stuff that re-invigorates the game...

I think that you don't see many love stories in EV simply because the engine isn't quite geared towards that. What are you going to do, keep meeting your significant other in a bar (or, with Nova, the Outfitter, Shipyard, or Trade Center) and have questions like "Will you go out on a date with me?" | Yes/No | "Great, pick me up on <DST> in a month and we'll have dinner."?

OK! I was asking because I am developing a plugin called Sol: 2050 and I was just wondering if there would be any intrest in it. Here's a description

Basically, Sol: 2050 is a plugin that takes place before the Great Expansion or even the colonization of Centauri. 3 factions have developed out of existing Earth federations: the Inner Federation developed from the USA, the Mars/Asteroid Belt Alliance sprouted from the European Space Agency, and the Union of Outer Worlds from Russia, China, and India.
I would reallllly like it if someone would do some graphics for me, because I do not have the skill. Also, if you would like to do desc's or something like that.
Right now, i don't have a website to host it at.

Ya! I didn't know! But if there's intrest, I plan on making a "Prequel" series for EV, possibly going up to the split-up of the Confederation. Again, I need graphics people, if anyone is interested.

Maybe it's just me, but I remember a plug set just before hyperspace was developed, where there were various factions like America, Russia, Britain (we had ships that looked like 17th Century naval ships, bastards :p) and China. I never got into it though, because there wasn't a mission computer and the shuttle only had one jump, and most inhabited systems had lots of empty systems among them, and so I could never make any money and upgrade to a two jump ship! :eek::rolleyes :frown:so if you ever intend to make a plug, don't make it too realistic, or it'll just suck :p)
