How Do I get the ring? I have killed everything and walked all over the well and still no ring.

Do you have the ring quest? The ring will not be present until the druid sends you to reclaim it.
Are you at the correct well? It is in the bleeding forest which lies 2 screens east from the southern Verandeep Lake entrance cave. At the southeast corner of the map is a well that contains the ring. Just walk up to the well and you should be given the ring. Barring that attack the well. I believe you just need to walk up to it, but I suppose an action might be necessary. I don't recall exactly.
