before I do a REAL search and maybe find what I'm looking for, I thought I would give you this:

I want to get paid for a mission 3 days after it ends. I thought I had it right....have a cron test for a bit, have a duration of 3 and everything else zeroes. It would run off 3 days and on the end it would set a bit
The payment mission would be testing for that bit and I would get paid.
Sadly, it isn't working out that way. I have the Day/Month/Year stuff at zeroes, because I don't have a specific time period to work with.
I'd rather avoid the Contribute and Require fields if at all possible.

The crön should (instead of setting a bit), start a mission that auto-aborts and pays you.

I can make the mission --> cron --> mission work fine How do I reset a started mission in the BBS( it has already accepted the bit even if I not it later) I could just run the mission and abort it, but I am still testing things and I'd like to reset all the missions at once. ------------------ Ivanova: "I can only conclude that I am paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate."

I've been working on a plugin. It has like 4 or 5 missions in it including crons and such. Instead of starting a new pilot every time, I have a mission that nots all the bits !b1 !b2 etc. involved with this plugin.
I can then start over and retest the plugin from scratch.
But for some reason a particular mission (set off by a cron event) won't go away when I not/negate its bit or the bit that the cron sets.
When I run and abort the mission, it comes up again in the BBS.
I may have to just create a pilot everytime I want to test, but that is bothersome
Okay, I get it now. Sorry about that. Is the crön still active when you not the bit? What is the duration for the crön?
Maybe you could take the plug out, and put in another plug that lets you revert everything you want.

I have a Pre Holdoff of 3 and a Duration of 1. Presumably that means that when the Enable tests true, then the cron waits 3 days and then lasts 1 day.
When I not the bits for the cron, the cron is not active (in the pilot log)
The mission disapears from the BBS once it is completed. So I may have to just "bite the bullet", and completed the mission before starting over.
I suppose I could take the plug out and put it back in (so to speak) But I have to exit the game move the plug, enter the game again etc, etc. every time I want to test. That's a pain so I was hoping to just have this other mission that negates everything when I run it.

And you are sent back to the beginning of the game.
Effectively the same thing as what I want as a test reset.
