syst visibility oddness

8 systems, 128~135

129 ~ 135 take the same coordinate. Visbits are set so that 129~134 are invisible when you start a new pilot. 135 starts visible.

128 is the starting system for new pilot.

128 and 135 are mutually linked so you can jump between the two.

When I run the game, he debug log has a warning that assumes an implicit link between 128 and 129, which I find odd, since I only specified links between 128 and 135. If ther reason there is a implicit link between 128 and 129, wouldn't there also be implicit links between 128 and 130, 128 and 131... ? Although I would argue that those implicit links shouldn't exist in the first place.

As I use a emulator, can someone be so kind as to check whether this problem occurs on real macs also?

Thanks a lot,

The way Nova deals with systems that occupy the same coordinates is a little strange (If you haven't already figured that out). It is set up to assume that the systems are different versions of the same system. I don't know why it isn't assuming an "implicit reciprocal link" with the other 5 systems, but it probably is/will. Offsetting slightly (as I recommended in your other thread) makes Nova behave normally, but then you need to explicitly create links to every system on the "pile". You probably know all this already, though. But I'll assure you, it's not an emulator issue. If that was the case the OS would have locked up long ago- it wouldn't just show itself by messing with Nova.
