I don't know if this is in search, cuz i didn't know what to search for. I mean, "Help me, my game crashes whenever I jump to the system I made" doesn't fit in the search box. So i ask you, " Help me, my game crashes whenever I jump to the system I made!" If you need details on the various things I did, please ask for things regarding resources and stuff specifically. I use NovaTools, btw.

Well, some details would be nice- I don't know where to start. But off the top of my head, entering any invalid Düde or Përs data into the system will probably cause a crash. Make sure you are entering resource IDs if it is set to use them, or index numbers, starting @ 0, if you are using indexes in Novatools; I got these switched around the first time I used Novatools (used to only having resource numbers and templates).

Is there a difference between resource ID and Index number? which is which? I have the individual numbers right I think, although if I need one or the other I might have entered an ID number where I need an Index. See? I am confusinf myself now. Another question that is a bit off the topic. When designing a gövt, are you supposed to make up an entirely new class number? If so, how do you know which numbers aren't being used already?
ok. I now see the difference between Resource ID and Index, and I also see the Use Res. ID or Use Index choicce at the bottom of each thing. I also know what RID means now....I still don't know why my game crashes.
Sorry for the continuous posts, but I keep making more progress. I now have access to my system, only trouble is, the two ships I made dont have the right shipyard graphic, space graphic, or target graphic. In other words, all the picts are screwed. I'll keep working on it, so dont be surprised if I somehow fixed it myself....
