What an Idea! I'm a Windows user, and, as you know, I would be a big help in making levels, Just ask AVN. So I think your idea is genius. So please, do this, and, AVN, Please give me the password, and load the TS200 webboard!

Perhaps your last comment should have gone on the TS2000 topic. I myself do not have the password currently. And I don't think I would be allowed to give it to you if I did.
I have to agree with Eldar. PGP is a pain. Nobody cares about what we're doing enough to hack into a stuffit file. And they cant steal our ideas, we have evidence they are ours right here. I don't get it. But for TS2000, I suppose PGP should be used. Whoops, my last comment should have gone on the TS2000 topic, too.

OK, I remembered the passphrase. I agree, PGP is too much for OBW. That's why I'm using an SDA (Self-Decrypting-Archive) for the files. All you need for that is the OBW password which I e-mailed to everyone. If you havn't gotten the password, e-mail me, and I'll send it to you.
However, PGP is fun to use, and anyone who has it and wants the official OBW key should e-mail me.

You don't? I thought I sent it to you. It consisted of three parts, and had four digits in it.

Oops, I meant the key. I think that's what Polish Falcon meant too. Now I have the key. But it won't do him any good, because I don't think PGP runs on Windows, and even if it did, what use does he have for levels which he can't run?
Ha they didn't delete meeeee! But where are my topics? Can sombody answere my questions? What, some of the things were actually good!!!! Like Boss ideas!!!

I am creating a new level to go in the Woods area. It is called "Escape from the Lockbox" and basically is half underground and half above. Underground it has many, many doors, buttons, rocks, traps, and other things. It is basically one big puzzle. I have discovered several new uses for the rock barriers. I have created doors that close when buttons are pushed, and doors that open when rocks fall on Ferazel's head. It is lots of fun, especially the "spiky springs and buttons cavern". Beware...
Hey, can I help? I've made some cool levels, but they're only bitmaps. Also, I think you shouldn't use PGP either. too much of a hastle for us people who don't get on the net often.

Starscream, don't pretend you weren't here before. Just tell everybody who you are, and you have already been accepted so there's no need to ask again.
I'm glad to see everybody's ignoring the Cap't.

Aschaaf, can you put up the map midi I sent you on the OBW page (if it's there already, it wasn't listed underneath the download link)? I want to get peoples' feedback on it...it's totally different from the ferazel map theme, but try putting the midi in place of the original music file (named "25") and see how it works...I think it's sort of cool.

Oops, sorry. I never got around to doing that.
I'll do it tomorrow. (I need to get off the mac now)

Hey "AYN". I'm interested in joining this "big world project" and I am putting a level on the Addons site. The file will be named: "Big World Project Level 1". Your welcome!

I finally updated the music page. Sorry for not doing it sooner.

Great! When you make a level, stuff it, send it to me, and I'll put it on the OBW Site. The OBW site is at (url="http://"http://www.frontiernet.net/~pschaaf/obw")http://www.frontiern...et/~pschaaf/obw(/url) You need a password to see the levels that are there. I'll e-mail it to you.

Hi, I think I want to start working on OBW a for bit.. I've done some fun tricks before. (my latest work is an overlay tile maze grin) I just read through the whole topic, so heres a few thingies... If I get a kingdom, I'll want the caves kingdom. Lime iMac! Ok done with the thingies. Must... get... back... to... work...
Yes, I've done that before. Overlay tile mazes are fun... Here's a variation: Make a tileset with the usual tiles, only put two sets of them. Make the first set have no effect (define all tiles as -1) and the second set be normal. Draw out your level using the second set. Then open up the saved version of the tileset and replace the second set with blank space. Then use overlay FG tiles to make a second maze, one that looks real, but isn't. Then all the walls will look like they're in the wrong place! It makes it very difficult.
Thok, I like your level from your world which uses all the buttons. You should use more scenery, though.
I agree that that is one of my favorites of my levels. I will not merge what I have of Thok's World with OBW though, but another world of mine will work fine (It's even going to have you meet Jack. Jack is the name I have the new boss I made). Ehehehe...

Phooey. I LOVE the experimental overgrowth thingy. With good music, that level could set the standard for a whole genre of "alternative" levels. By alternative I mean less bad guys and more scenery and puzzles. It would be perfect with a "mystical" soundtrack. The music I'm specifically thinking of right now (although using it in OBW would be illegal) is the "Enhasa" soundtrack for people who have played Chrono Trigger on SNES. Great game.
