One of my friends wants me to ask if plugins work with Windows 98. He has tried and failed. Any advice? Thanks.

Most plugins SHOULD work with Windows. Make sure he has the latest version of PoG. Also, there are some bugs that only show up on Windows, so he should be aware of that.

Labrat: Almost all plugins work on Windows, I know that through personal experience. Those that don't work are usually cheat plugins where you need to press shift- or command- something to get a bonus. MiMe: Ever heard of a starving college student? Not everyone has enough money to buy a mac, they might be stuck with what they have.

Mr. LabRat,
Just to clarify:
Plug-ins for PoG are platform independant; you can run any plug-in on either a mac or a windows machine that is running PoG. As mentioned there are a few windows-only bugs however which may make the plug-ins unuseable. The largest of these bugs, in my opinion, is that the extended keys will not work(ie, pretty much shift-anything).
Creating plug-ins requires the use of Coldstone which, at the moment, is mac-only. So windows users are out of luck in making plug-ins unless they can get emulation to work. No guarentees though.

No overuse of smilies please. Makeing fun of users just because they have a different OS isn't gaining any points also. Overall, your post was useless.

Platform wars are not necessary. PoG is for Macs and Windows.
Hey, what about poor pp (Who hasn't visited the PoG boards in quite a while, heh) who was stuck with a PC because of his parents when he wanted a Mac?
I would say almost all current plugs work for Windows. The only ones that don't work are the ones that require you to hit a button, not including SpeedyKeys. (By the way, SpeedyKeys is insanely useful, you should try it if you already haven't)
And one important thing you guys forgot to mention, all plugs except Trinity won't work unless you register PoG. (I think that's what it was, or was it that you can only use one plug at a time?... Ah, forget it.)
