Just wondering, is it possible to make a mission where you actually lose money? I ahve 1.0.1, and was wondering if this would screw up anything major.
Also, does anyone else want to give me the serious help(that I need) on making a different plug, for EVN? Thanks.

Yes, you can. Certain values in the PayVal field will take away a percentage of the player's credits, but also you can set it to take away a certain number of credits.

Its possible-----> in the mission resource-----> go to the pay val field (right) there should be a pop-up menu below that field it reads standard "Credits" just have a look and choose your option
Hope this helps ,

Thanks. On a somewhat similar note, is it possible to have a mission where you board a ship, and then it becomes your escort?
I don't think it's possible in the conventional sence (you can't upgrade or sell, as far as I know, and it won't charge money), but you could do it with pรซrses and invisible missions.

Take a look at the board derelict missions where the crew asks for a ride, the refuel trader missions, and at the escort trader missions. I can't think of it right now, but there is a way to do that.

I've had a closer look at this with, and with 1.0.2 as well, with plug-in missions and with the Drop Bear and Forged Certificate missions. The percentage feature doesn't work at all - credits remain unaltered. I was confused at first by the Drop Bears mission, which appeared to have the effect of adding money rather than deducting it, but what was happening there was that the DatePostInc feature was adding 14 days' Rank pay! The Forged Certificate mission doesn't kill off other certificates, either.
Maybe it's time some of these Nova programmers lost karma....

Is it possible to do this in EV/EVO?

No.
In 1.0.0, the remove percentage of credits feature worked. It seems that there is a bug in 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 that cause this to not work. Let's hope this is fixed in version 1.0.3!
