Is there any difference between guidance type 1 and 2 in EVO?
I have noticed that people complain about needle missiles and SAD/SAE modules spinning in circles and they have guidance type 2 while hunter missiles don't which have guidance type 1. Nonetheless, I couldn't find any definitive statements and these efects could just be because of the seeker flags.
Ta!
------------------ Its amazing how "tsk, tsik, nik" can mean anything from "There's a bomb in the bus, get help!" to "I'm hungry, feed me" In case of ambiguity about anything I say - choose the nicest interpretation.

Guidance type 2 is obsolete in EV Override. In Escape Velocity, it allowed for smarter homing projectiles, but in EV Override, you're supposed to always use guidance type 1 and adjust the other fields to control its homing behaviour. Use of guidance type 2 in EV Override can produce unpredictable results. I don't know how it came about that some weapons in EV Override use guidance type 2, but I believe it is generally considered a bug.
