Is there a list of all the ship resources for Nova? I'm making a plug and my copy of ResEdit is anything but stable. An easy to read SimpleText document that lists both the ship's ID and full name (with varients) would be great. Thanks in advance.

Well nothing is wrong with it. But if too many files are opened at once there is a high chance for a crash. If any one is up to the task of fulfilling my request I'd be thankful. I just don't have that kind of patience.
Download ConText and ResStore from wootware. ConText will extract your ship resources (or any others you want) in a tabbed text file. You can open this in BBEdit, Excel, or any other word processor or spreadsheet.
This is by far the easiest way I have found to compare resources or to make mass changes. ResStore will convert the modified text file back to Nova resource format.

Where is ResStore? I got ConText.
(Edit) Is there a way to get only certain fields? The full read out gives me a huge amount of text and numbers; it also has the varients which is good. The short read out gives me the IDs and only the ship name; no varients which is bad. Great program.
