I recently registered a copy of POG and I am having troble saving, wel I can't save. TYhe save window opens and does not give any errors. But a file never appears on the disk and I can not find it even if I load from with in the game.
Has anyone ever seen this or know of a way to fix it ? ? ?

Mr. Eplettner,
Welcome to the boards!
Don't worry, there is hope. Please take a gander at (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/webboard/Forum61/HTML/001048.html#")this(/url) thread. It details the problem and explains how you can get around it while we wait for an update from Beenox/Ambrosia.
Also, please familiarize yourself with the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro&default;=61")search(/url) feature. If you look on the main PoG web board page(the page that lists all the threads on this board), in the upper right hand corner is a set of 6 links: profile | register | members | preferences | faq | search. If you click on the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro&default;=61")search(/url) button you will be transferred to the search engine. Simply plug in a few keywords(such as "OS X save") and you will be given a list of threads pertaining to your question.
Using the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro&default;=61")search(/url) function will save you time(you don't have to wait for anyone to answer your question) as well as save you from people telling you to use it, hehe. If you still can not find an answer to your question then feel more than free to post here and we'll do our best to answer it for you.
Thanks, and once again welcome to the boards!

While this is true, the above isn't an example of this. He's only 50% there.
If you still have problems after reading through the link I posted, ask, and we'll try to figure something out.
Good luck!

does Beenox know about this bug? If they do will they release a bugfix?

Mr. MetalSnake,
Yes to both questions.
While we wait there are workarounds to it.
Originally posted by Stark Bledfast: **Mr. MetalSnake,
Thanks. Any ideas when they will release the bugfix? I know the workaround but I never know which of my save games is the newest.
btw: I just found your PoG Walkthrough it´s great!
Originally posted by MetalSnake: Any ideas when they will release the bugfix?
Unfortunately no. The last update was almost 5 months ago, and we haven't seen or heard anything since except that they are working on one.

2 options for you here:
After you save the game shell out of the program(go into the finder), locate the file, and rename it to something that makes sense to you(but keep the .pog extension on it!)
Look at the time stamp on it. When you save over the existing file the time stamp will change to reflect when you saved over it. This will let you know which of your saved games is the most current.
Thanks!

They are? It looks more like they're putting all their effort into Pro Skater 3 and The VATZ. Maybe after Pro Skater is released.

Yes, they are.
Both Dee and David Dunham of Ambrosia have stated publicly that Beenox is working on an update that, at the very least, will address the game saving problems.
Whether we will get a full update of CGE awaits to be seen, but I expect at the very least a 1.0.1.5 CGE that will compile PoG to 1.0.3 so that users of X 10.2+ can save their games.
