This is really more fit for the "Just Tech" forum, but last time I tried this there, I got next to nothing in terms of feedback. I just need someone to do me a quick favor: I need the Stuffit Engine 6.5 or later (preferably 6.5.1) file e-mailed to me unstuffed as soon as possible. I've lost a bunch of files by accident, and all I have is the Stuffit Engine 6.0 with Stuffit Expander and DropStuff 6.5.1 - the engine version is too old to function with my versions of Stuffit, and I can't even open .sit download files at the moment. I tried re-downloading the entire Stuffit 6.5.1 bundle (including the engine), but as I figured, I couldn't even open the blasted download file. :frown: If someone wouldn't mind just e-mailing me the Stuffit Engine version 6.5 or later to me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

I just sent you one from my computer. Let me know if it works.

I have always wondered why they don't make those download archives self-extracting...
------------------
Nevermind...Mac.com has a 5 meg e-mail limit.
I posted it in the public folder of my iDisk (name: Farpoint).
Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem. Have you got a link?
In MacOS 9, Open Chooser. Choose "Select IP Address." In the box that comes up, type 'idisk.mac.com'. That will bring up a username/pass field. Username is farpoint, password is public.
In Mac OS X 10.1, choose Connect To Server from the Finder's Go menu and type 'http://idisk.mac.com/farpoint/Public'. There shouldn't be any password required here.
Let me know if it works.
(EDIT) I believe that there are also some EVMP/3D shots in my public folder. Feel free to play around with them.

You could also e-mail it to him as a self-extracting archive.

Thanks! I'll try that once I'm on the correct computer.

I tried. .Mac's e-mail size limit is a few bytes to small...
Wow...I don't remember that stuff being that large... All well. I'll stop posting here now, as I can't send it to him.
I found this on the aladdin website:
A: Internet Explorer has a built-in BinHex (.hqx) decoder. Follow these steps:
just use the bin hex

That worked. Thanks man, I really appreciate the help! /Recommends karma point.
I checked out your screenshots also. Pretty sweet.
ThorPrime: I couldn't seem to find a bin hex download file at Aladdin's site that was available for OS X... Just 8.1 - 9. Oh well, everything is working fine now, so don't worry about it.
Thanks all!
Glad I could help. Enjoy!
