A question about sprites in Nova

I remember that in EVO, there was a maximum size that your sprites could be. I'm wondering if that restriction exists in Nova too.

Basically, I'm making planet/station graphics and I'm wondering how big I can make them.

Also, I know that it is possible to animate spobs in Nova. I was also wondering what software I would need to do that. I currently have Bryce 2, Graphic Converter 3.6, and m2s/p2s/etc.

I'm not absolutely certain, but I have a feeling that your available RAM is the limit in EV Nova.

You don't need any extra software - you just create a multi-frame sprite just like you would for a ship, assign it to a spöb, and set the spöb's flags so that it animatess

Excuse my ignorance, but how would I go about making a multi-frame sprite. (I'm still relativly new to graphics)

It depends on your 3D program, but the easiest way is probably to output your animation as a QuickTime movie, use m2s to convert it to sprites, and then use EnRLE to convert those sprites to RLE format.
