Clut Resources

How does one go about making a clut resources? So far I have already a pict file ready to be put in a plug-in.

Hmm maybe I'm too vague on my question. Already I know how to make that part, but the real question is how to take the colors of the pict file you have and put it in a clut resource. That's what I'm really looking for.

I believe there's a way that you can do it in Photoshop, but I don't remember what it is.

If you happen accross the link to Pontus' website, he had a tutorial on how to use the clut resource. The link I have is outdated, so I'm afraid I can't help you out other than that. Perhaps someone else has it, though.

Ok, so far I just learned that, now what about for splash titles and stuff, and does the clut resource apply to other graphic elements of the game as well?

Apparently Im still f***ing stuck with the stupid splash screen. I have a pict resource file, and I have a clut file that I exported from Photoshop. Now what? How do I get the stupid exported clut file thingy to interact with ResEdit? I already know how to import the picture itself into the plug-in but the god darn friggin clut is the problem, if I open it directly via ResEdit, it reads it empty. And please don't refer me to any other post topic or Ponta's whatchamacallit, I've been there and still I haven't got the anwswer. And to make it easier to get the answer, please don't reply by saying "Oh I haven't figure that out yet" that doesn't help me find the answer I need.

I know UE Patriot has managed to get the clut working for the ROTUE plug-in. So How do I stick the exported Photoshop clut into the plug-in itself?
