Sorry to bother you for such a question but, I cannot seem to figure out how some of the Id's link to one another for a plug I am creating for EVC. Say I have a target pic for a ship I place it in the plug witch I am making in reseditbut how do I link it to the Ship resource it belongs to. (Also how would say the outfit lighting fighter know to use the lightning ship?) Also I have input a new sprites/masks linked them to a spin resource (how do you do those i's?). I then made a ship with the same ID as the spin. I understand all of the information required. So I figure my ship will work. Nope. So I have made a dude resource and fleet resource useing this ship, but to no avail. It does not even show up. I can not find this in either the bible or by search. I cannot beleive I can not figure this out but my head got sore from banging it of the table, so i resolved to ask you. Thanks in advance

I could probably help you there. Unfortunately, I don't know what you mean by 'EVC'. If 'EVC' stands for EV Classic (in other words, the original EV) I have had tons of experience. Write back & tell me. -Nighteyes

EVC does, pretty much universally, stand for the original Escape Velocity.
Lord Demonthenes, the answer to your questions:
To allocate a target PICT, give the ship's target image a resource ID of <it's resource ID> - 128 + 3000. So if you were using ship ID #140, place the target PICT at ID 3012.
To allocate a particular fighter to a bay, open the fighter bay's wëap resource. Give the bay a Guidance of 99 to make it a fighter bay, and then give it an AmmoType of the carried ships resource ID.
As for making the ď, press option-u and then press i.
Your last question has me stumped, I'm afraid... anyone else have nay suggestions?

If you mean hav I told the düde what s˙st to appear in? yes I have. I have even narowed it down to a specific system. Thanx though. The Id value for shipyard pics is determined in the same way as target pics but instead adding ____ correct? If so what is this number? (and hail pics to) Sorry I am so full of questions :redface:
