Is it possible to make a weapon that adds shields/armor when it hits something, instead of taking it away. Also can you make so that a weapon won't make the ship attack you. eg. weapon that repairs the shields of a friendly unit without getting him mad.

To the best of my knowledge, the answer is no. You could experiment with negative damage values, but I've heard that doesn't work. Besides, you can't hit escort/fighter ships anyway.

Although if it had a big enough blast radius, you could "undamage" your escorts like that.

I guess you make like a flak device (explodes at the end of flight), with a large blast radius, and negative damage. Heck, it might repair you if you set it to "damage" player.

Listen, billions of years ago, I tried to do that, even tried hundreds of alternate ways, making a repair beam and stuff, and in the end, it did not work. So unless there is a way to actually positively way of doing so, let me know, k?
