Well, I have been working on my Gundam plug for quite a while, and have come across a slight dilemma. I don't know a lot of important areas on earth from the gundam universe. I have made a quick map with stuff I do know (more or less). Suggestions/additions from any Gundam fans out there?
And here is a preview for (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/infernostudios/gundam.mov")EVN: Gundam(/url)

Edit :
Did some searching on the web and found info on Odessa, Belfast, Kimbareid, New Yark, and Torrington. Any other help is still apreciated! ~SpacePirate

sweet, it's about time we got a gundam plug. Do u mean the original gundam or gundam wing, 0083, or any of the others?
------------------ Long Live The Rebellion!
This gundam plug is based on the Universal Century series, from First Gundam to Chars Counter-Attack. I have nearly all gfx for 0079 done, just the finishing touches on most of them (everything except the Zaku really). Next are the missions... (sigh)
If I can I will go all the way to F-91 - I love that movie
BTW I think what_is_the_matrix is still making his gundam plug, for Stardust Memory.
dang. you guys sure are workin' hard. that movie is sure promising, but that just makes me all the more expecting. drools...can't wait
another thing to definitely have is the colonies (sure hope you haven't forgotten) and make up a couple new suits. There aren't enough different suits in the shows to accomodate evn. It doesn't have to go by the story exactly, have some fun creating some new ones. another thing to look forward to...
Boy I really love GUNDAM!!! The classic one is the best one, I believe there's a small error though... remember the Zeons bombed out Sydney or something? They make a huge reference to that in Gundam 0083 and its the first scene in Mobile Suit Gundam, if you haven't noticed. But wouldn't that make sydney an abandoned zone?

By the way, from what I see, I can't be sure, but the preview looks abslolutely incredible... whatever is fighting the Zaku, the GM or the Gundam, looks amazingly accurate as well. I really can't wait to play this!
Hrm, SkullLeada, are you the same SkullLeada that used to inhabit the Discboard a few years ago? Your AIM name is the same, as far as I recall, but your email address and writing style aren't.

You'd better change "Anaheim" to something like "Los Angeles" to prevent confusion with "Anaheim Electronics" which is in Von Braun on the Moon.

Beware of misspelled place names. "New Yark" is actually New York, and "Jaboro" should be Jaburo.
As for mention of Neo-Japan, Neo-Britain, etc., leave 'em out. They exist only in an alternate universe (Future Century) as very large space colonies. Sakhalin (a Russian island just north of Japan -- it's huge, you can't miss it), on the other hand, would be a good idea to include.
Basically, just get an atlas and look for major cities and missile bases.

Thanks for all of the input, I made a new map and I just have to upload it to Homepage.
NTiOzymandias: ~in the gundam universe they changed the name to New Yark for some reason, I learned that from gundam officials gundam glossary, (url="http://"http://www.gundamofficial.com/www_uc/p_glossary.cfm")http://www.gundamoff.../p_glossary.cfm(/url) , in the places section. You're right about Jaburo though...
SkullLeada: ~yea, you're right, I just put sydney there because I don't know any other cities in Australia.... :frown: Anyways I replaced it with the Torrington federation base, just north of the Sydney crater. Sydney was actually destroyed by Zeon's British Tactics, or Operation British, which involved dropping a colony onto the earth. Im pretty sure they were aiming for jaburo though. So that would technically make sydney... gone. ~And it's the GM fighting the Zakus, thats why it gets its @$$ kicked... I guess you can't tell because of the poor quality of the movie, but i guess thats what happens when you try to lower the size of a movie to put it on the web.
what_is_the_matrix: ~I just got kinda confused, Anaheim has a major suit production lab in California, which was a major Fed base before it was taken by the Zeon. I just changed it to California.
Gun Rider: ~Of course I didn't forget the colonies! The Earth is just a little thing I figured out how to do with wormholes and NCBs. When you land on Earth from space you are sent to one of the spaceports on earth. I thought it would add a little variety, as a major part of Gundam takes place on Earth.
One major problem I have come across is that I need to start a mission (or at least use a set NCB string) when you use a wormhole. I plan on making it so that you're ship flies in space and walks on earth, you'll understand with my next movie. Any ideas?
I'm back.
And here is the movie showing my Gouf walking around. (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/infernostudios/gouf.mov")http://homepage.mac....tudios/gouf.mov(/url)
