If your using adobe photoshop 7 you can click on the grid icon and it will add a grid to the scree, that should help
hope it works!
Even easier would be to just make one half of the texture, copy it, flip it, and put it in place. Oh, and you might want to repeat your topic in your first post, because I find it extremely annoying when someone says "Can it be done?" in their post, and then I have to look all over the page to find the topic title.
