Sound Tools

I'm trying to change some sounds in a plug in back to the original EV sounds, and I only have a very old and outdated "tool", if you can even call it that to edit sounds, can someone tell me the name of a good utility for extracting/editing sound files contained in an EV plug in or any other file? Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I really don't know what to call a utility like this, heh.

Simple. Open the plug and the EV sound file in ResEdit. Copy and paste. Copy and paste. Copy and paste. Copy and paste... etc.

Er, I haven't used a real Mac in years...I have no idea how to use ResEdit...hehe.

Get a copy of ResEdit. Open up "EV Sounds" with it. You will see a little speaker icon and the label "snd". Doubleclick the icon. The new window is a list of all sounds used by EV (except for the intro music), they're labeled, so copy what you need.
