I need to cut an image into 7 equal 37 pixel tall segments (each its own image, for a navigation bar on a website). How would I go about doing this (is there a way in photoshop, If not, what program do I need?) Joe

Step 1: Set the graphics grid (File>Preferences>Guides and Grid) to 37 pixels, and turn it on (View>Show Grid or Command+' )
Step 2: Use the Marquee tool to select each square (or rectangle) than copy and paste it into a new file and save.
Repeat Step 2 seven times.

Be sure to have "Snap To Grid" selected when you make your selections. I also recommend setting your Marquee to a fixed 37 pixel tall ratio.
