I've posted about this before, but I never got an "official" answer. My problem is that I put "/n" in an outfit name, and Nova just ignores its meaning, printing a name that is too long and actually contains "/n" in it. I don't understand, because my other outfits are working, and they use exactly the same technique.
I also can't figure out any link between the occurrence and anything else. For instance, it happens with names which have spaces or non-alpha-numeric characters before the /n, and names without. Other names work, in both situations. The ID numbers are not the highest ones, and there is no other version of "/n". I even copied and pasted the /n from another outfit which worked, and it didn't function properly in-game. It just doesn't make sense.
Has anyone else experienced this bug, or can anyone explain it to me?

Well, I don't know much of ANYTHING about Nova, so maybe this will sound like a dumb response, but have you tried using n instead of /n? I know that n is used to break lines in many programming languages, such as C++ and (if I remember correctly) Java and JavaScript.

I haven't, and to tell you the truth, I'd have to check to find out which one is the right slash. I did consider that as being the problem, though, and checked to make sure all the slashes were going in the same direction. They are, and I still get only partial operation from them.
Anyone else know of this bug? Matt Burch?
