Hi, I'm trying to make a fuel leak. So I made it so that a reactor outfit (fuel scoop) was granted during a mission and put a negative value in the Mod Value field (like Nova Tools says to do) for "fuel sucking" mode. But this doesn't seem to work. It works fine with a positive value, so I am picking up the outfit. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. --Den

Do you have any other outfits that regenerate fuel? If so they may be counter-acting it. You may want to try larger values of fuel that gets sucked.

No, no other outfit that would do that. I tried -200 value and still got no fuel sucking at all. Theoretically, am I doing the right thing: 1) make an outfit called "fuel leak"; 2)make it a fuel scoop; 3) put in a negative value? Maybe there's something else I could do to get the same effect? --Den

I have a strange feeling that fuel sucking mode only works for weapons...
hmm I've tinkered around with fuel sucking mode. From what I've seen, using the fuel sucking mode in OUTF will make you lose fuel at a constant rate no matter what. Using fuel sucking mode in WEAP is a different story, it only drains x amount of fuel per shot.
