Hey, I know there have been posts like this in the past, for earlier EV games. In one of them several people said it would be possible to change the background in Nova. Is this in fact possible? If so, could it be given some simple animation (waves or perhaps moving clouds or something of that nature)?

No and yes, well you can have a different image then stars, but it better be small or MAJOR lag will happen. and it can't have animation. Also you can hue the background a single solid color, but it never realy turns out right and it always seems to turn out as bright neon colors.
