I'm getting very frustrated with my attempts at large sprites for ships in EVO; anything I've done at 96x96 and larger has had holes in it after putting it into the game. I've checked the spin resource and the sprite PICTs themselves a dozen times, and there's absolutely nothing apparently wrong with it.
I've posted this twice before; neither time yielded anything that worked. This is my last attempt at using this board for this particular problem.
If anyone can help, thanks in advance. Otherwise, I'll try sending it to people and seeing if they can fix it. I just can't figure this one out.

The only possible things I can think of are too many bits of color, or sprites not being the right size (multiples of 8 and whatnot). Both of which I'm sure you've checked.

Hmm...well, the thing is, since I no longer have my Mac, I've had to do this all through Basilisk; what I've been doing is save my Photoshop images (Indexed color, MacOS color palette) as PICTs and port them into my Basilisk disk file. One quirk with this has been the fact that it's been stored in the data fork, so Graphic Converter likes to crash with these files, but that isn't the problem -- I've even tried copying the stuff to ClarisWorks before copying into ResEdit.
What that leaves is the mask; when I do indexed color on that, after saving as a PICT file and reopening it, it always appears to be in "Grays" mode instead. But even copying this to ClarisWorks 4.0 (which seems to automatically convert stuff to 8-bit color) before transfering it to ResEdit hasn't worked.
I don't know if this helps at all, it's a very elusive problem.
I think now's the time the moderators should start yelling at me for bringing this up so much, but I'm not too happy at the fact that no one can help me with this. People've said they had this problem before, so there's got to be some way to fix it, I would think.
Anyone who hasn't tried before willing to have me e-mail them the picts and have them try to figure it out? I've sent it to two people already; neither had any idea, and I've put a couple hours of tweaking into it and had no luck either.
What exactly do you mean by "holes" in the ship? I also use B2 to use EV, but I've never had such problems. Maybe you could elaborate, or send the pics (preferably in jpeg format) to me at nick014@msn.com

Can you upload (or email to me) the actual plugin you're using? I'll take a look. Don't send just the images - the plugin can affect things too.
It is possible that you are simply having problems running it on an emulator.

Sure...thanks.
I have a feeling you're right, too. I started playing the Star Wars plug-in for EVO yesterday, and I was getting the same problem with the Star Destroyers. I suppose I'll just have to live with it or something.
Well, I'll send it over sometime today so you can make sure it's really just the emulator. Thanks.
Well, if for some reason Weepul 884 can't solve the problem, maybe you should make a downlink of the plug-in or something here on this webboard so everybody can get a chance at it. This is just a suggestion though.
