Cloaking device sprite problems

I've added this new ship with my upcoming plugin, and I'm currently testing it out so I can get things a little better balanced, but I've run up against a really starnge problem. Whenever I cloak the ship, the enitire ship isn't cloaked, there a few lines of the sprites that don't get "faded out" The lines are always the same with each frame, but differ from frame to frame. Is this a problem with my sprites? Does anyone have a similar problem or any insight into this? Thanks.

p.s. I'll try to post a pic later, but I'm at school right now.

Are you in a translucent ship? Vell-os and wraith are translucent.
Are you in a painted ship? Sometimes this causes problems.

What does youre mask look like? that may be the problem. What does the ship look like uncloaked?

Is the sprite 8 bit? I have had the same thing happen when using 8 bit sprites from older versions of EV.

That is a Polaris ship, right? Sometimes engine glow can mess cloaks up when they overlap with the base sprites, as that ship does I believe.
