Ok. I have just started my wizard char and I am wondering what to do first. What should I do first thing?

If I were you I would start by buying some armor, and then just doing a few quests and saving your money. When you get enough, buy a few tomes from the mage in fantrima. The healing tomes are good. After this head on to gwynden camp and buy more tomes. Hope thats enough to get you started.

When starting a new game, I use this plan. Start one screen south of Fantrima and get all the gold you can (seven spots) and talk to Septemris. He gives you the quest to save a life. Go one screen west and get more gold (three spots) and then one screen south and get gold from east side and southwest (six more spots). Edit: The only thing I can think of is that in my morning stupor I clicked "reply" instead of "edit" but to get the 2nd box, I think I activated return (command () instead of clicking "submit".
