Weapon Problems

I have made two new weapons (actually the same one, except different damage given) and they show up in the game just fine, after trying to get them to work for ever. But when you press w to scroll your second weapons, it does not display the amount of ammo left. Then, after unloading shot after shot into space, you land on a planet and sure enough it says that none of the ammo was shot. However, they actually were shot, and some of them disabled other ships. Does any one know what I am doing wrong? I have looked of the Weap resoucre time and time again, but I can not figure out what is wrong. I am very frusterated and on the verge of giving up. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

Thank you in advance.

Again check the AmmoType field. If it is set to using fuel or -1 (unlimited ammo), then you may be purchasing ammo, but not using any ammo to make the shots. Weapons that use the unlimited ammo flag commonly don't show how much ammo is left.

Hope that helps.
