How do flags/inherit jam work on Res-Edit with EVO templates? (I don't understand how the hex thing works.)

Hexidecimal math is much the same as decimal, except that it adds the following digits: A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, F = 15 and changes the place values so that '10' represents sixteen. So, if you were, for example adding flags $0004 and $0008, the result would $000C.
However, if you want to avoid hexidecimal math altogether, MissionComputer, available (url="http://"http://davidarthur.evula.net/")here(/url), can automatically do the calculations for you on certain resources, with more coming soon.

I would if I could but my mac doesn't have the internet and I can't transfer it through my PC (that i'm using now). :frown:
Are you sure you can't download Mission Computer to your PC and copy the file to a CD or floppy disk? That's what I do, and everything always works fine for me.

That should work fine - the MissionComputer files are compressed in a format that can exist on a PC without being damaged, and both versions are under 1.4 MB.
Which doesn't help if he's got a newer mac, no disk drive
