I've recently started work on my first plugin, and I'm trying my hand at creating new spöbs and systems and such, but I've hit a rather odd snag. In trying to add new hypergates to the network (I've created 2 so far w/o problems) I duplicated the spöb and tried to make a gate in a system I'd created. Even though the parameters are identical except for the hyperlinks, which I know are correct and the resource id (1422), the new one appears with no graphic, and when I try to enter it, the game says the gate is offline. I can't get to it from the other gates I connected it to either. Anyone have any ideas?
It's so nice being able to post my own topics now...

There's two types of hypergates. Did you copy a live hypergate?

Hehe, yep.

Yes, I'm absolutely sure that it was copied from an active one. It's values are identical to another gate I added that IS working. The weirdest thing is the complete lack of graphics.
Ah nevermind. I figured it out. Apparently I used the wrong value for the hypergate inside the s˙st resource (durr). It came to my attention when I noticed that the name of the malfunctioning gate when selected was the same as the gate in the adjacent system. I am an idiot.
